Text Decorator

Frames, borders, symbols and line effects to dress up any text.

A font style changes the letters themselves; a decoration dresses the whole line. This tool wraps your text in ready-made frames — stars, hearts, sparkle trails, ornate brackets, shaded bars and even a full three-line border box — and also applies the classic line effects: strikethrough, underline, double underline, overline and slash-through. Everything is plain text and symbols, so you can copy and paste your decorated line into bios, posts, comments and chats exactly as you see it here.

Tap Copy next to a decoration, then paste it anywhere. Short text decorates best — most frames are made for names and headings.

How to decorate like a designer (not a glitter explosion)

Decorations follow one rule: they should frame the words, not fight them. Pick one frame per line — stars or hearts, never stars around hearts around sparkles. Match the frame to the mood: crowns and shade bars suit gaming names, blossom and butterflies suit gentle personal profiles, corner brackets and square brackets give a tidy, almost technical feel that works for shop names and stream titles. The Border Box is the strongest option and the most fragile: it is three lines of text and only lines up neatly where line breaks and even spacing survive, such as Facebook posts, Discord and forum signatures — most one-line bio fields will flatten it, so use single-line frames there. Effects like strikethrough carry meaning too: a struck-through price with the new price beside it is a classic shop-post trick, and an underlined word quietly tells readers "this is the important bit" in apps with no formatting buttons. Finally, decorate the copy of your text, then read it once on your phone before posting — if you have to squint to find the words inside the decoration, remove a layer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I put a border or frame around my text?

Type your text in the decorator, find the Border Box row (or any frame you like), tap Copy, and paste. The frame is made of ordinary text symbols, so it pastes anywhere — the box is three lines of text, so it works best in posts and bios that allow line breaks.

Why does my border box look crooked in some apps?

Box borders line up perfectly only in fonts where every character has the same width. Many apps use proportional fonts, so the right edge can wobble slightly. Single-line frames like stars, hearts and brackets never have this problem.

Can I combine a decoration with a fancy font style?

Yes. First generate your styled text on the Fancy Text Generator homepage, copy it, then paste it into this decorator as the starting text and add a frame around it. Decorations wrap whatever text you give them.

Do decorations work in gaming names?

Often, yes — many games allow symbols in display names, though some restrict names to letters and numbers, and a few strip symbols silently. Keep a plain version of your name ready in case. Our gaming names guide explains the common limits.
